Luce Fund For Children
In 2003, Lucy School parents, friends and community members established the Luce Fund for Children. The purpose of this not-for-profit organization is to help keep the School vibrant, accessible, and diverse. The Fund raises funds and accepts donations primarily to: (1) help defray tuition costs so that any child can enter, regardless of a family's ability to pay; and (2) to make possible visits by local artists to co-create music, dance, sculpture and other masterpieces with the children. It goes without saying that both the children and the visiting artists learn new ways to see the world and solve problems by the time their work together is done.
